This year I am hosting Thanksgiving. The task feels daunting because I have alot to live up to when it comes to the cooks in the family. My mother-in-law is from Cajun country and cooking comes naturally to her. She never uses a recipe and makes delicious meals all the time (just ask her son). This year I want to prove that my cooking skills have drastically improved since I got married and the days of just baked chicken and steamed broccoli are over. So here is the overzealous, New Orleans inspired menu I have planned.
