and the completed caption,

Ever since my son attended cooking school for kids he loves to help me in the kitchen.
He’s a pretty good mini-chef and last week we made Baked Ziti for the first time.
Since he is becoming more selective (that is a nice way of saying PICKY!) about what he eats,
I have tried including him more in the cooking process
because he’s more open to eating what he cooks!
Here is our recipe for Baked Ziti:
- 4 cups Luxury Penne Rigate Pasta
- 1 jar (26 ox) Marinara Sauce {I used a chunky vegetable}
- 1 can (14½ oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 6 oz Cream Cheese, cubed
- ¾ cup Ricotta Cheese
- 8 oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (or Italian Blend)
- ⅓ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
- Cook pasta in a large pot as directed per packaging, omitting salt.
- Drain pasta and set aside
- Combine marinara sauce, tomatoes and cream cheese to same pot
- Cook on medium heat until cream cheese is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently
- Mix pasta into sauce
- Layer half the pasta mixture in a 13x9 inch baking dish
- Cover with spoonfuls of the Ricotta cheese and 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- Layer the other half of the pasta mixture on top
- Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan
- Bake 20 minutes, or until heated through
